Bangladesh purchased half of Ukrainian rye export

Within this MS Bangladesh has become the Ukrainian rye’s new largest importer, having purchased over half of total Ukrainian rye exports (7,500 thousand MT ), UNIAN says referring to The Financial Express report.
As to the report, despite 18% decline of Ukrainian rye output within 2015 (down to 391,000 thousand MT against 478,000 thousand MT in 2014), currently Ukrainian rye export is growing mainly due to domestic consumption slackening in Ukraine.
Reportedly, within the first half of 2015/16 MS, Ukrainian rye export reached 13, 756 thousand MT, up 4% against 2014/15 MS similar (13,204 thousand MT).
As to the report, within this MS Egypt has purchased 2,126 thousand MT Ukrainian rye.
As to the earlier report, in 2015, China became one of the largest importers of Ukrainian maize and barley.
