Poroshenko had a phone conversation with European Commission President

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the Head of State informed the President of the European Commission on the developments in Donbas.
Reportedly, the parties expressed concern over the increased number of provocations carried out by militants. They urged to fulfill the Minsk agreements strictly.
The Ukrainian President emphasized the importance of preserving solidarity and unity of the EU in the issue of sanctions against Russia until the restoration of territorial integrity of Ukraine, including Crimea.
As to the report, the President of the European Commission praised the adoption of a series of anti-corruption and anti-discrimination laws. He was hopeful that Ukraine’s progress on the way to the visa-free regime with the EU will be positively evaluated.
Besides, the interlocutors also discussed the enhancement of economic integration between Ukraine and the EU, particularly in the context of the establishment of FTA on Jan 1, 2016.
As to Juncker, the Ukrainian issue always remains one of the highest priorities for the EU.
As to the report, the parties agreed to meet on Nov 30, at the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
