First Ukrainian electric bus "Elektron" presented in Lviv

"On his working visit to the Lviv region, the Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarskiy visited one of the enterprises of Electron Corporation, accompanied by the Lviv region Governor Oleg Syniutka and Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadoviy.
They learned the processes of electric public vehicles," NRCU says quoting the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry report.
As to the report, a new product of the Corporation, the first Ukrainian electric bus «Electron» (model E19101 - a new generation environment-friendly transportation model), was demonstrated to the Minister.
Reportedly, also the advanced low-floor T5B64 "Electron" tram was presented. The new tram is expected to start functioning in Kyiv.
As to the report, the electric bus can transport 100 passengers. Its interior is equipped with essential devices to facilitate transportation of persons with disabilities. The bus can reach the speed of up to 70 kilometers per hour and drive 200 kilometers on one charge. The blueprint envisages air conditioner for any weather, and kneeling function - to reduce clearance for easy boarding.
