Yatseniuk met with Slovak President Andrej Kiska in Bratislava

As of yesterday, within the framework of the visit of the Governmental delegation to Bratislava, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk met with the Slovak President Andrej Kiska, Government Portal reports.
As to the report, the Slovak President expressed his firm and steadfast support for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He noted that Slovakia is a friend of Ukraine.
Reportedly, Yatseniuk expressed appreciation for the solidarity with Ukraine, partnerships and especially - for a significant contribution of Slovakia to Ukrainian energy security and energy independence.
As to the report, the sides exchanged views on the economic situation in Ukraine. The Slovak President praised the results of reforms being implemented by the Government of Ukraine, noting that the current Government achieved much more than had been done for decades.
As to the report, the parties also discussed energy cooperation, noting the need for common approaches that would guarantee the security of both countries, the unity of European policy in this area as well as efficiency.
Besides, the parties also focused on the security situation and implementation of the Minsk agreements. Yatseniuk and Kiska discussed initiatives and measures to support a peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine and strengthen regional cooperation within this context.
