01.09.2015 16:11 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
The world leaders are condemning the violence taken place near Ukrainian Verkhobna Rada on Aug 31,
NRCU reports.
«Street violence is unacceptable under any circumstance, but violence against the decisions of an elected parliament is even more so,» the German foreign ministry said. «In a democratic society, grievances must be addressed peacefully and lawfully,» said deputy U. S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner. «We call for a full investigation into the cause of todays violence. Those responsible should be held accountable.» «Todays events are very worrying,» said the EU foreign affairs head Federica Mogherini, adding that the legislative «process shouldnt be jeopardized by violence.» At the same time Kyivs Western allies see the reforms as a chance to end the armed conflict in the east that has claimed more than 6,800 lives over the past 16 months.
