Switzerland ready to invest US$100 mln in Ukrainian agriculture in next four years

While speaking at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Oilseeds Black Sea crushing plant in Odesa region on Thurs, the Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine and Moldova Christian Schoenenberger said Switzerland is ready to invest US$100 million in Ukrainian agriculture in the next four years, NRCU reports referring to Interfax-Ukraine.
«Wed like to present that in next four years the program of cooperation between Switzerland and Ukraine with a total investment of US$100 million which were ready to spend on agriculture will be in effect,» he said.
As to the report, the Ambassador said that despite the economic crisis in Ukraine, no Swiss company stopped its operation in the country, adding that Switzerland is also interested in investing in Ukrainian infrastructure and healthcare.
