Expanded meeting with representatives in subgroups of Trilateral Working Group took place

As of last week, an expanded meeting with participation of the Ukrainian President, Prime Minister, NSDC Secretary, security officials and representatives in subgroups of the Trilateral Working Group on peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas took place in Kyiv, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, within the meeting the Ukrainian President said now Ukraine requires from all the signatories of the Minsk agreements, and first of all, from the Russian Federation, to fully implement the Minsk agreements, including the Protocol of September 5, 2014, Memorandum of September 19, 2014 and Complex of Measures of February 12, 2015 - which include the ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weaponry verified by the OSCE.
Besides, while addressing Yevhen Marchuk, the Ukrainian representative in the subgroup on the security issues, Petro Poroshenko emphasized the importance of restoring control over the uncontrolled areas of Ukrainian-Russian border. As to him, one must stop criminal inflow of heavy weaponry and militants to the territory of Ukraine.
As to the report, the parties also discussed the need for immediate liberation of all hostages. This issue is considered to be the top priority and is related to the subgroup on humanitarian issues.
Reportedly, the interlocutors also discussed efforts’ coordination with international organizations in order to promote the delivery of humanitarian aid to Donbas under all international procedures.
As to the report, Poroshenko focused the attention of Volodymyr Horbulin, the Ukrainian representative in the subgroup on political issues, to the fact that one can start a dialogue on the modality of local elections only after complete ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weaponry verified by the OSCE.
