Ukrainian President, Singaporean Foreign Minister discussed cooperation projects and experience exchange

As of yesterday, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law of Singapore K. Shanmugam, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the parties discussed the issue of international security and broadening of economic cooperation. Poroshenko urged the Singaporean business to increase the volume of investment in Ukraine.
In his turn, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore expressed support to sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. As to him, Singapore condemns the annexation of Crimea as well as any other attempts to violate sovereignty of a state.
As to the report, the Ukrainian President focused the attention on the large-scale privatization and measures to create new investment climate in Ukraine. «Our cooperation can be very fruitful, particularly in the areas of logistics, management, manufacturing, aviation and space projects, scientific and military-technical cooperation, environment, information and communication technologies and the introduction of e-government,» he said.
Reportedly, K. Shanmugam also called for the expansion of cooperation - especially on the exchange of experience in public administration, fight against corruption, economic and security fields. The Minister informed about the program, under which officials from various countries come to Singapore, work there for some time and develop their proposals. He invited Ukraine to join this initiative, noting that it is also a very interesting experience for Singapore.
