Rozenko: IMF loans will be used to support reforms

Funds provided by the International Monetary Fund and other international organizations should be used to support financial and economic stability of Ukraine and to undertake reforms, which in the future will provide a resource for improving of the Ukrainians’ life quality, Government Portal says referring to the Ukrainian Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko interview shared with the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
«Now we feel the effects of the consumption of IMF funds which took place within many previous years though debts are growing, but the social and economic situation, unfortunately, is not improving,» the Minister said.
«The only way out of this situation is to direct these resources to support financial and economic stability of Ukraine, and most importantly to support the reforms,» he stressed.
«That is what both international donors and the Government are talking about only economy could provide a resource for improving of the quality of life of Ukrainians,» Rozenko added.
Also, he noted that today, unfortunately, we cannot exclude the factor of war, but it is not the reason to refuse from the reforms.
«On the contrary now we have the best time for reforms,» the Minister said.
