Rozenko: New subsidy system is simple and convenient
10.04.2015 17:13 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) —
At An Hour of Questions to the Government in the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, the Ukrainian Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko has informed the MPs and the society about the core innovations of the introduced since May compensatory mechanism of social protection under conditions of utility tariff increase, Government Portal reports.
«The only criteria to obtain housing subsidies from now on is the level of family income. There have been cancelled all artificial criteria. An official has no longer the right to deprive the person entitled to the subsidy of it,» the Minister stressed.
As to the report, Rozenko also told about a significant reduction of the list of documents that citizens should submit for subsidies and about prolonging twofold, up to a year, of the period during which a targeted governmental assistance will be provided. He also mentioned abolishing of the unnecessary criteria to calculate incomes of citizens and an opportunity rendered to the renters to receive subsidy.
