Ukrainian President held a meeting with leaders of parliamentary coalition's factions

As of today, the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has held a working meeting with leaders of parliamentary coalition’s factions, President Petro Poroshenko Press Office reports.
As to the report, the Head of State has emphasized the need for intensifying of the work over the draft laws necessary for the fulfillment of the coalition agreement and elaborated at the National Council of Reforms in order to accelerate the process of State reformation.
Reportedly, Poroshenko has also admitted his principled position on privatization of State enterprises that do not affect the State security and the opportunity of selling of which will increase the investment attractiveness of Ukraine. «I think we will have to continue the process of implementing transparent and efficient contests on privatization, but restrict the participation of beneficiaries of Russian origin,» the President said.
Besides, Poroshenko has urged to consider the draft law on the abolishment of bail in cases of serious crimes and corruption in order to «block the opportunity for criminals to be released on bail». The Head of State has noted that he expected the parliamentary coalition to support him in what concerns this issue.
As to the report, the President has also stressed the importance of volunteers’ initiatives on the improvement of maintenance of the Ukrainian army. «Everything that concerns security and defense must be considered as top priorities,» he said.
As to the President, the Constitutional Commission has already been formed and would is to begin its work the following week. He has called for acceleration of the constitutional reform and noted the necessity of power decentralization and abolishment of judicial and parliamentary immunity.
It is to be admitted, the meeting was attended by the Chairman of Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groisman and the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk.
