Motorcade bringing contraband vegetables/meat detained on Ukrainian/Moldavian border

10 trucks road train carrying contraband vegetables/meat has been detained on Ukrainian/Moldavian border, reported Ukrainian State Border Guard Service.
As to report, motor convoy consisting of 4 PAZ buses, 4 Mercedes minibuses, 1 Iveco truck and 1 KAVZ truck (carrying number-plates registered in near Dniestr area/Ukraine) was stopped by Stepanivka frontier post border guards (detachment of c. Kotovsk State Border Guard Service, Odessa region) at about 200 meters distance from near Dniestr area segment of Ukrainian/Moldavian border.
Motorcade was moving towards Ukrainian village Novochervone.
As to State Border Guard Service, citizens of Moldova (15), Russia (3) and Ukraine (1) were bringing from near Dniestr area into Ukraine 34 MT meat products, 25 MT fresh tomatoes, 550 kg cucumbers and 260 kg marrows.
As to report, confiscated cargo was estimated UAH600,000.
State Border Guard Service admits this is one of biggest contraband cargos detained on Ukrainian State border since early this year.
