Ukrainian Gov't divested itself of its powers before newly elected VR

The Ukrainian Government divests itself of its powers before the newly elected Verkhovna Rada, Government Portal reports quoting the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk as speaking at the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation on Thursday, November 27.
As to report, Yatseniuk said the new Verkhovna Rada appears «pro-European, pro-Ukrainian, having a constitutional majority and a political will to reforms, achievements and developments».
«I have the honor to announce the termination of powers of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The mission has been completed. I ask you to appoint a new Government,» Yatsenyuk stressed.
Reportedly, the Chairman of the meeting, Head of the ad hoc working group on the preparation of the first plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation Volodymyr Groisman told that the Cabinet’s members continue to perform their duties until the election of a new Government of Ukraine.
