Belarus raised nearly US$2 milliard in foreign direct investment in four years

Belarus raised nearly US$2 milliard in foreign direct investment in four years, Belarus Radio says referring to the Belarusian Economy Minister Nikolai Snapkou interview with the TV channel «Belarus 1».
While sharing the interview, Snapkou explained that within four to five years, experts forecast a rise in the country’s economic activity.
Asked what attracts foreign investors to Belarus, Nikolai Snapkou mentioned human resources, infrastructure and stability. The latter relates to social stability and government, as well as legislation concerning investors. The Minister stressed that «today the situation in the region shows that these seemingly trivial things are fundamental for the investor.»
