OSCE approves prolonging mission in Ukraine for six more months

All the OSCE member countries have approved of the decision to prolong the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine for another six months, NRCU says referring to the
Mission spokesman Michael Bociurkiw report made at a press conference in Odessa on Thursday.
«The missions mandate was valid for six months, and has now been prolonged for another six months under a decision adopted by all 57 member countries of the OSCE. The special monitoring mission is currently working in ten cities and the number of its monitors will soon reach 300,» Bociurkiw said. Alexander Hug, Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE special monitoring mission, reaffirmed the missions plans to increase its staff to 500, of whom 350 would be sent to eastern Ukraine.
He also said that the missions field offices would continue to operate in 10 Ukrainian cities, including Luhansk.
