Ministry of Economics forecasts 2.8% GDP growth, 11.6% inflation within 2006

Ministry of Economics forecasts this year 2.8% GDP boost/11.411.6% inflation, report press-agencies referring to Arseniy Yatseniuk, Minister of Economics.
As to Yatseniuk, these figures reflect so-called «pessimistic scenario», while in case of «optimistic scenario» inflation will be " 1010.5%.
Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov forecasts 2006 6% GDP growth and " 10% inflation.
As earlier reported, this year Feb Gross Domestic Product had grown to UAH30.626 million (up 2.2% against last year Feb), while this year Jan-Feb GDP had risen to UAH60.470 million (up 1.5% as of last year Jan-Feb).
It is to be reminded, this year Jan GDP had boosted by 0.9% (to UAH29.844 million)
2005 Gross Domestic Product had raised to UAH418.529 million, up 2.6% against 2004.
