Representatives of transnational corporations to attend Belarus-USA investment forum

Over 50 representatives of transnational companies, international financial institutions and NGOs are expected to take part in the first Belarus-USA investment forum that will take place in New York on 22 September, Belarus Radio reports referring to BelTA.
As to report, among those who have already submitted applications to take part in the forum are President & Chief Executive Officer at Culligan International Scott Clawson, head of the IMF mission in Belarus David Hoffman, Director of the Office for Central Europe and Eurasia, US National Academies Glenn Schweitzer, and others. Invitations have been sent to more than 500 potential participants.
Reportedly, the Belarusian delegation is expected to be led by Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich. Besides, taking part in the forum will be representatives of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, the Finance Ministry, the Economy Ministry, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Bank of Belarus, the Hi-Tech Park and the company that promotes the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park.
