Currently, there is no reason to postpone the presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for May 25.This was stated by chairman of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine Olexander Chernenko, NRCU reports.
He said that while commenting on the statements about the feasibility of postponing the date of the presidential election due to the war in the Crimea, which are now often heard in Ukrainian politics. According to Olexander Chernenko, the presidential election would be legitimate even provided the Crimea will not open any of the polling stations. However, the central government, according to him, has done everything possible for Crimeans to enable them to vote.
