UAC suggests sugar wholesale trade licensing introduction

Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee (UAC) is convinced it is necessary to establish licensing of sugar wholesale trade in Ukraine in order to effectively monitor wholesale companies activity and reveal/stop current competitive legislation violations, reported UAC press-service.
As to report, presently UAC is executing sugar market situation research in order to determine, in part., whether domestic market sugar prices current boost has been caused by competitive legislation violations.
As to press-service, UAC management has already sent corresponding orders to all UAC regional branches.
Press-service also makes it known UAC, in order to prevent sugar market crisis situations, insists on introduction of monthly statistics systems covering data on all forms property companies sugar consumption/available remainders.
As to press-service, UAC considers it necessary to form each year State sugar reserve through sugar purchases performed within period of sugar making, to help State-owned companies to timely react upon market sugar deficit/make necessary interventions.
