Ukrainian President: Reforms became foundation for state modernization

Reforms held in Ukraine for the last 3 years became the basis for state modernization. It was stated by the President at the plenary session of the Sixth international investment summit «Sustainable development: energy efficiency, resource preservation, environmental security» in Donetsk within last week, President Viktor Yanukovych Press Office reports.
«We have initiated many different reforms that provide for capital modernization of our country,» the Head of State noted.
According to the President, without close connection between the Head of State, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada and the civil society it is impossible to build a strong state.
«A big repair has begun in Ukraine. Certainly, it leads to some inconveniences in our country but all developed nations have experienced them,» Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
«Without waiting for the end of the global economic crisis, we started a broad program of state modernization in 2010. This program is designed for a quite long period of time,» the President emphasized.
