Azarov: We'll discuss in Kaluga how to maintain level of trade and economic relations with the CU

October 1415, a meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Russian Committee on Economic Cooperation will be held in Kaluga (Russia). At the level of the governments of Ukraine and Russia will be discussed a range of issues of bilateral cooperation. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during communication with users of social network Facebook, Government Portal reports.
«On Monday and Tuesday I have my official trip to Russia and I have meetings with the Russian leadership and the Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Cooperation will be held. It has been prepared volume material, including draft agreements that we will have to sign. Thus, we will have another opportunity to discuss these issues at the government level,» Mykola Azarov said.
However, he noted that the most important task at the moment is to maintain the level of trade and economic relations with the countries of the Customs Union. «We must understand that it is jobs, wages and incomes to the budget,» the Head of the Government said.
Thus, Mykola Azarov recalled that the President of the Russian Federation pointed out the need at the level of leadership of the state, experts to analyze the possible consequences of Ukraines accession to the FTA with the EU for economic and trade relations and industrial cooperation with the countries of the Customs Union. «In my opinion, this is a very important statement of the President of the Russian Federation,» Mykola Azarov noted.
