Ukraine and Belarus have signed a number of bilateral documents

In the presence of the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Belarus a Road map for developing industrial cooperation for the years of 2014–2015 was signed in Minsk, Mykola Azarov Official Website reports.
«We have signed a number of bilateral documents among which I would like to pay tribute to the Road map for developing industrial cooperation. This is a very important document which prescribes in a very particular manner the main objectives and the timescales for the projects that we have agreed to implement together», said Mykola Azarov.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government has taken a favourable view of the bilateral talks on the whole. He noted that they were fruitful and constructive «I am deeply convinced that our cooperation has wide prospects and good opportunities. We have come to a significant level of the turnover, and I think we will increase it in the next year.»
The parties also signed a number of the Belarusian-Ukrainian bilateral documents: the Intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of plant quarantine and plant protection, the Interdepartmental agreement in the field of staff training for nuclear-power engineering, the Road map for developing bilateral cooperation for 2013–2015, the Interdepartmental cooperation program in the field of physical culture and sports for 2014–2015, the Interdepartmental protocol on cooperation in the field of customs statistics of mutual trade and the Interdepartmental protocol on the termination of international agreements on the issues of customs regulation.
Prime Minister of Belarus noted that the new procedures for the support of the industrialists will also contribute to the increase in the bilateral trade turnover. «We have mutual understanding that we need new support procedures for our industrialists: either through the financial instruments or through the work of the leasing companies. And I believe that we need to prioritize work on the new projects and new points of growth, and they are mainly connected with the issues of scientific and innovation development», said Mykhailo Miasnikovych .
