Ukraine to expand list of laboratories for accreditation by Rospotrebnadzor

Ukraine has sent to the Federal service on customers rights protection and human well-being surveillance (Rospotrebnadzor) the first package of documents for the accreditation of special laboratories in Ukraine last week, Government Portal reports.
As of today, other 4 laboratories have been already determined; documentation regarding these laboratories is to be sent to Russia soon.
And Ukraine continues to work on implementation of agreements reached with the Director of Federal service on customers rights protection and human well-being surveillance Gennady Onishchenko during the visit of Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk to Russia.
In addition, Ukraine sent invitation the Federal service on customers rights protection and human well-being surveillance on August 29 to inspect Ukrainian confectionery factories as soon as possible. Ukraine also asked to specify the parameters of checks and inform the composition of a group of inspectors.
At present Ukraine continues to work on implementation of the arrangements established by the protocol of intent, because all Ukrainian confectionery industry is export oriented with 50% of its products being shipped abroad. As of now, Ukrainian confectionery products are exported to 58 countries, mostly to the CIS.
