Within this week Ukrainian sunoil export market (which is one of main factors to form our country domestic sunseeds purchase prices) has strengthened;
however, this time it hasn’t influenced domestic sunseeds market and so sunseeds purchase prices were raised by just few processors.
Absence of changes on Ukraine domestic sunseeds market is to be explained with agrarians sufficiently high offer. It is to be admitted, just 2 weeks
ago agrarians had been quite reluctant to sell their sunseeds reserves, — but they significantly raised their sunseeds offer as soon as processors
boosted purchase prices up to UAH4,000 per MT, CPT plant. Now, processors still have enough space for purchase prices growth as Ukrainian export market
so far remains rather strong. However, experts say sunseeds purchase prices are quite possible either to grow or to decline in near future, — what will
depend mainly on agrarians offers number.
As of this week, CPT basis sunseeds purchase prices fluctuated within UAH3,900–4,070 per MT (for agricultural producers) and UAH3,350–3,770 per MT
(for middlemen).
Within this week Ukrainian sunseeds export prices slightly boosted: Turkish importers faced sunseeds deficite and therefore were ready to pay
US$575–580 per MT, CIF Marmara — what is nearly equal to US$542–548 per MT, FOB Black Sea ports.
Within reporting week traders have fixed ports sunseeds purchase prices UAH3,500–3,600 per MT (excl. VAT).
Sunoil, sun.pell
Within this week Ukrainian domestic/export sunoil markets have been dominated, once again, by growth tendency. This time, however, domestic/export
markets’ strengthening has been caused by export demand rise. Market operators say Ukrainian foreign trade has recently much activated as our country’s
sunoil was purchased by many companies from different countries, — what resulted in Ukrainian sunoil export prices having grown by about US$40 per MT
within last 2 weeks.
Within this week Ukrainian sunoil export demand prices ranged within US$1,140–1,145 per MT (FOB Black Sea ports, Feb 2012 shipments); export offer
prices were US$1,155–1,160 per MT (FOB Black Sea ports, Feb 2012 shipments).
Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market sunoil prices were following export market prices growth tendency and therefore hoisted by UAH150–200 per MT: thus, producers fixed UAH9,450–9,650 per MT (EXW) sunoil domestic sale prices.
Within this week Ukrainian sun.pell export market situation remained stable. Thus, DAF Belarus basis export prices fluctuated within US$152–156 per MT
(DAF Poland — US$162–167 per MT, DAF Hungary — US$165–169 per MT).
On FOB Black Sea ports basis, this week Ukrainian sun.pell export prices were US$155–165 per MT.
At same time, this week domestic sun.pell market situation also remained stable: thus, sun.pell prices fluctuated within UAH1,100–1,300 per MT
(sunseeds meal — UAH900–1,200 per MT).

Within reporting week Ukrainian domestic market rape purchase prices’ growth tendency has slightly stimulated domestic market rape trade; however, even
despite that, rape trade still remained slack.
Within this week traders have, once again, slightly raised domestic market rape purchase prices; however, as earlier, there were very few market
operators eager to make rape sale or purchase. As of this week, domestic market rape purchase prices ranged within UAH4,170–4,270 per MT
(EXW)/UAH4,350–4,450 per MT (CPT).
Within reporting week Ukrainian rape export prices were US$590–600 per MT (FOB Black Sea ports).
Soybeans
Within this week Ukrainian domestic soybeans market situation remained same as within previous week. As earlier, soybeans purchase prices ranged within
UAH3,400–3,600 per MT (CPT port)/UAH3,250–3,350 per MT (EXW).
Export market soybeans prices fluctuated within US$415–422 per MT (FOB Black Sea ports).
This week home market soy.pell prices ranged within UAH4,200–4,400 per MT (soybeans meal — UAH3,570–3,900 per MT). As of this week, producers declared
soyoil sale prices as much as UAH8,500–8,700 per MT.
