Premier: This year to become crucial in creating favorable and comfortable environment for business

02.02.2012 10:12 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said he is confident of this while speaking at a meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers. Mykola Azarov noted that in the last two years the government has been able to drastically reduce the administrative barriers, reduce the number of supervisory authorities and considerably lessen the amounts of money entrepreneurs have to pay to open businesses. Furthermore, as Mykola Azarov noted, after reforming the tax system in Ukraine the number of businessmen working by simlified tax system has not decreased. The new model of the simplified tax system started to be used by virtually all small business owners, who previously paid a single fixed tax. This shows that the criticism of the Tax Code and a new simplified tax model was not quite fair, the Prime Minister said. The task of the government, the head of the Government repeated once again, is to help businesses grow and develop, because it helps economic growth in the country and filling in the State budget. This is exactly what should be promoted and enhanced by reforming of the tax system.
