The global oilseeds production forecast is lowered this month

15.08.2025 19:55 "Agro Perspectiva" (Kyiv) — According to the report of the USDA Oilseeds: World Markets and Trade (August 2025), the global oilseeds production forecast is lowered this month on lower U.S. soybean, Ukraine and EU sunflowerseed, and U.S. and Sudan cottonseed. Global oilseeds trade is down slightly as decreased U.S. soybean and Ukraine rapeseed is not offset by increased Argentina soybeans.

Global oilseeds crush is down on decreased EU and Ukraine sunflowerseed and U.S. and Uzbekistan cottonseed crush, largely offsetting increased rapeseed crush from the EU. Global oilseeds ending stocks are forecast lower on decreased U.S. and Argentina soybean stocks not offset by raised EU rapeseed. Global oilseed meal trade is unchanged with higher India rapeseed meal offsetting a decline in Ukraine sunflowerseed meal exports. Global vegetable oil trade is lowered on decreased Ukraine sunflowerseed oil exports.
