Japan simplifies visa requirements for Ukrainians since Jan 1

While speaking within his congratulatory message on the occasion of the end of the Year of Japan within Ukraine, Shigeki Sumi, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine, has said since this year Jan, Japan has simplified a visa regime for Ukrainian citizens, Ukrinform reports.
«The Year of Japan in Ukraine was not limited to a cultural component. The visit of a delegation of the Japanese business federation „Keidanren“ to Kyiv, many lectures by diplomatic experts, the official visit of Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy to Japan and many more events took place. It is worth noting that due to the Year of Japan, JICA opened its office in Ukraine, and the simplification of visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens will be introduced starting from Jan 1, 2018,» the Ambassador said.
